“Think of Giving World Online as a sort of dot.com dating agency; a marriage bureau that matches the needy with the givey to create relationships made in recycling heaven,” Leicester Mercury.
Each year UK businesses send tens of millions of pounds worth of surplus goods to landfill.

Everyday millions of people and families struggle to afford basic life essentials like food, clothing, toiletries; thousands of UK charities and grassroots community groups struggle to deliver valuable services that positively touch the lives of millions.
Giving World Online offers a solution for busy companies and organisations that do not have the time or resources to find people that could benefit from their surplus goods.
The website is designed to allow organisations to redirect surplus goods into their local communities, through a network of bona fide charities and community groups, providing much needed resources and making a meaningful difference to the lives of vulnerable and isolated people.
Giving World Online is provided free of charge* to both donors and the recipient charities and community groups.
(*all the recipient charities have to pay is transport/postal costs)
The scheme is designed so that donor and beneficiary arrange the logistics directly, ensuring the goods are not transported to a holding warehouse only to have to be transported out again.
Why waste quality goods that could benefit so many?
