Following University I landed the role of Office Manager at a textile company. Nine years ago I co founded Konnect9 and co developed the Giving worldonline.com website. I love travelling, reading and writing.

The overall aim of Giving World Online is to provide a global platform for diverting the world's surplus resources to the world's most poorest and needy people.

Leicester born I graduated in Business & Finance and then went into a number of managerial/financial/business support roles before co-founding the charity with my sister Rama. My interests include reading, travelling, listening to music and eating chocolate, occasionally all at the same time!

Leicester born, I studied at Beauchamp College before graduating from Leeds University with a 2.1 in broadcast journalism. I am currently studying for an Open University diploma in creative writing. My interests include writing (novels, short stories and articles), reading, journalism, football, computer games, music, film.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Physics but also enjoy chemistry and mathematics. I also have knowledge of PHP, which I learned as a hobby, but continue to develop. I enjoy most things geeky, particularly maths, computers, sci-fi and graphic novels. I’m also a big fan of American Football and like to Snowboard (when I can!).

I've worked in Sales and Marketing for the past 15 years or more in both a corporate capacity and as a self employed business owner. I have a passion for maintaining customer relationships and appreciate the importance of high level customer service in all areas of life.

I love pasta, listening to music, singing with a local men's chorus and present a programme slot on Community radio. I'm a Member of Lions International and support a range of charitable organisations in Leicester.

I come from a newspaper background, having spent more than two decades as a journalist, I have also worked at the Y Theatre, Leicester as a marketing officer. Working for Giving World Online is a challenge I relish as it gives me the opportunity to do something worthwhile with my working life which will  benefit others, not just in this county but also abroad.

My interests include Leicester Tigers, Sunderland AFC, reading, music and travel.
