Catching Up
Since the last blog, we have all been away on a long holiday. All refreshed and ready to go now.
Below are a few comments from GWO staff re Arthurs Basitngs visit in July.
Arthur was very inspiring (and entertaining), even for those of us with no ambition for corporate management. He spoke from personal experience which made him seem very genuine. What I got from him was that you should do what you have a passion for otherwise you will never be happy - so very true.
Paul D. Found (Online Communications Co-Ordinator)
Arthur he is one of the best leaders and a very inspiring man. We all listened and were inspired because he was really brilliant and not what anyone was expecting.
Nicola Ward (Communications Officer)
I thought Arthur's visit was very engaging and it was really refreshing to see an executive that actually cares for the people he works with. He's a good example for all leaders.
Maria McVinnie (Fundraising Research Assistant)
Seemed down to earth (not what you would stereotypically think of high management within large organisations). Good range of knowledge, both conceptually and in real terms. Good communicator, got his message across clearly. Good audience engagement.
Richard Lockley (Marketing Research Team Assistant)
