And hello from the desk of the GWO team.

 

And what an exciting week this has been for the United States of America– a president who believes in being green and is looking to a future of reducing CO2 emissions.

 

Being green and helping in the community is what we at Giving World Online are keen on too.

 

This week you’ll notice we have baby wear on the site. There is quite a story behind this, an all too common story.

 

Unfortunately a local children’s wear manufacturer went out of business a few years ago. These baby grows were stored unsold with another company while the businessman concentrated on ventures new. Shifted and hidden behind other stock and all but forgotten until Giving World Online came on the scene and jogged someone’s memory.

 

A few quick emails and hey presto they have been gladly donated on Giving World Online for any charity or voluntary group working with women and children.

 

And there are 5,000 baby grows…. A total of 700kg prevented from ending up in landfill……
