Vacancies

We are recruiting to the following full time positions, which are funded for 3 years by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund. Project (Partner/Business Development) Officer - responsible for developing local, regional and national networks and partnerships with stakeholders (primarily companies), identifying the needs of beneficiaries and ensuring sufficient business surplus goods are donated to meet these needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in the corporate sector (preferably in marketing or sales) and be experienced in plotting approaches to new donors; developing and maintaining corporate relationships and partnerships and demonstrate a history of achieving tangible results. The ability to self-manage and self-motivate in a changing environment will be essential for this new post.

A full driving licence is essential.

Salary will be in the range ££18,453-£22,221 (depending upon experience).

Marketing, Communications & PR Officer  - responsible for developing and delivering Giving World Online’s offline and online communications, marketing and PR plans across all target audiences including corporate, voluntary and public sectors. This will include proactive campaigns; reactive media relations support; and general communications and marketing activities, ensuring the needs of beneficiaries are fully identified and met.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience of working in a marketing environment, press office or a PR agency to support press and communications campaigns, preferably in the corporate sector, and demonstrate a history of achieving tangible results. Good communication skills and writing and editing experience are essential for this post as is the ability to self-manage and self-motivate in a changing environment.

Salary will be in the range £17,161-£19,621 (depending upon experience).

Web (IT, Monitoring & Evaluation) Officer - responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing the organisation’s IT solutions including a Sugar CRM database (and other IT systems); system networks and server; IT based monitoring and evaluations systems (including data analysis) and the Giving World Online CMS website.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of IT and web based solutions including knowledge of HTML, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Microsoft Operating Systems and complex databases. Experience of collating and analysing detailed information is essential as is the ability to develop detailed monitoring and evaluation processes and systems.

Salary will be in the range £15,725-£17,161 (depending upon experience).
