Warehouse web

You see we are running out of storage space for the goods we supply to families in need. The goods are coming in faster than the time it takes to distribute them. It's all brand new, unopened and would usually be land-filled if we didn't store and distribute it to the 3.4 million people living below the poverty threshold in the UK.

Last year Giving World helped 251,000 families by providing them with brand new clothes, toiletries, household cleaning products and bedding, amongst other things. This also saved the environment the emissions equivalent to 759 million plastic bags being land-filled.

And this is all the kind of stuff that's spilling out of our warehouse currently. Can you help us by donating some storage space, no matter how temporary, especially in the East Midlands area?

With your help, you will be able to provide stability to families across the UK by helping incomes stretch further. In turn, by providing stability we have proven that we can improve life chances of the recipients.

We have been working with Frontier Economics for a year now on how we do this. With the available data we were able to demonstrate some really tangible results in our communities.

  • 96% of recipients agreed that the item(s) received by Giving World fulfilled unmet needs
  • 80% reported enhanced feelings of safety
  • 66% of recipients were of the view that the goods helped them to improve their life chances
  • 81% reported reduced feelings of isolation

Improving life-chances and contributing to stability especially enables children to educationally attain. Educational attainment is the first step towards the flight towards social mobility and the confines of persistent generation-on-generation poverty. This benefits us all, as the general purchase power of the UK will not decrease generation on generation.

You really will be making a massive difference to families struggling to survive and provide for their children across the UK.
