Four Twelve Ministries in Leicestershire operates 2 projects: Carpenter's Arms and Joseph's Storehouse.
Joseph's Storehouse provides food parcels and essential household items to large numbers of homeless people and needy families. Each week as many as 300 food parcels are given out.
The Carpenters Arm’s is a hostel for men challenged by drug and alcohol addiction, which often results in a breakdown in relationships, homelessness, financial hardship and offending. They offer a programme of help and support and life skills training in preparation for independent living and employment.
Gavin was homeless. Now, thanks to the support of Four Twelve Ministries he is living independently and has received a computer through Giving World Online to enable him to develop his own business.
“I write to you today using the computer graciously provided by your good selves. I have been using this PC to put together my business plan for starting my own clothing label and it has been a treat to be able to do this in the peace and quiet of my own space, away from any distractions. Now with my business plan in order I am moving into the next exciting phase of re-starting my life.
Judith Spence, Director of Four Twelve Ministries was amazed when she found out about Giving World Online. “We only heard about Giving World Online a couple of weeks ago. It was very easy to sign up and the system is extremely efficient. We have been amazed at the variety of goods available.”
