"We are a disability charity. We started getting together once a month in 2000 as our centre for the disabled cut their service. We now have an allotment, rooms for our activities and a mini bus. Our members are disabled people, carers/families of disabled people and people who simply need us.

"We help the disabled to learn life skills, boost their confidence and be as independent as they can be. We also help their families by helping them to get a rest from caring for us.

"We have received lots of company donations through Giving World Online such as warm clothes, toiletries, toys, household goods, etc. All the goods have been given to disabled people and their families. This helps them in their lives as there's not much money left after paying the bills and with the cut-backs it will only get worse, so these items are needed.  Every penny helps to all of us."
