Giving World Online can help businesses deliver Prime Minister’s Vision

In December David Cameron announced the latest government project 'Every Business Commits' during his keynote speech at the annual general meeting of the charity Business in the Community (BITC).

‘Every Business Commits’ is a set of five priorities participating firms would honour, from reducing carbon output and improving their workers' skills to, what he described as the perhaps the most crucial, "supporting" the community.

Two of the priority headings listed in ‘Every Business Commits’ are Reduce Carbon and Protect the Environment and Support Your Community.

Giving World Online welcomes the latest government announcement and hopes that more businesses will register to use the free service and help to make a big difference to people in need.

Giving World Online is ideally placed to offer businesses a simple solution to help meet these priorities; to help support their communities and reduce their environmental impact in the process.

The scheme helps business meet a number of objectives; it helps reduce goods going to landfill and encourages reuse; it saves companies costs on storage and disposal and allows them to support their local community; it helps companies meet environmental and corporate social responsibility goals; it provides valuable support to people living below the poverty line.
